Super 8 Motel Provo Byu Orem

I've stayed in the past and it has been all right, but has fallen into disrepair, and is in bad need of a remodel. Its one positive is proximity to LES.

Young, inexperienced and uncooperative staff at the front desk upon check in. My first room's AC was not working and the facial expression of the front desk attendant when I asked for a different room was one of being unconvinced. The pool was cold. The pool was freezing cold. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was because it had an indoor pool for my children to swim in. They were so excited until they got in the pool. They were hypothermia within minutes. The other problem was that the carpet in our room was filthy. It looked like it hadn't been shampooed in years. There was ground in dirt, things that had been spilled were obvious in several places.
Also, some wallpaper was peeling off the wall, and the ceiling looked stained. I didn't mind that it was somewhat old and outdated (popcorn ceiling, old style doors etc) but the carpet was bad. The bathroom was clean though. ...read more

They need to take better care of their hotel.

Very comfortable and easy to get to. Staff was very responsive and cheerful. The complementary breakfast was good and in a clean room.

The hotel ran out of breakfast at 8:30, so my kids and I had to go to a gas station and get something to eat. The main reason why I stayed here because they had a continental breakfast. I have little kids. ...read more

Clean rooms and a friendly staff made a pleasant stay.

Remote didn't work, only one key worked initially.

Overall a good stay for the rate. Friendly staff, and typical breakfast. Room was very outdated but not dirty. Nothing fancy.
